No sorry. All my allergy test done through the NHS.
My mum did (not for asthma but for digestive problems). It told her she was intolerant of a wide range of foods she'd never had problems with her entire life, at the age of 68.
Turns out she had advanced pancreatic cancer - you need a working pancreas to digest food properly. York Tests offered unlimited advice from a nutritionist (not a dietitian, which is a more regulated profession and a protected title - I think anyone can set up as a nutritionist). But at no point did they suggest she see a GP or other medical professional, just kept on about what foods to avoid.
Absolutely not saying that you have this, or anything like it, but after seeing that I wouldn't trust them with my health. Please see your GP or another doctor if you have concerns about allergies or intolerances. I also believe the methods York Tests use are not accurate and are likely to suggest you have all sorts of intolerances/allergies that you may not do.
Hi,
I did this test a few years ago in relation to ongoing sinus problems, runny nose etc. I wondered if it was diet related.
My tests came back negative and my money was refunded.
Hope this is useful.
