hi

I’m on on a anti blood clot pill Edoxaban and Bisoprolol

Anyone know if I should take these on the day I have the spirometer text

My GP way sure crazy as it sounds

Good morning. I think a good idea would be to contact the medical practitioner that is carrying out this task and seek advice from them

yes unfortunately my GP doesn’t know and asked me to check with her receptionist which wasn’t ideal as they referred me back to make a doctors appointment to ask that

Maybe the asthma nurses here will know the answer. You can contact them on Monday. Personally (I am not medically trained though) I would be surprised if you need to stop taking your tablets for spirometry. Am aware some of inhaled medications for asthma you can’t take on day. But have never been advised that multitude of tablets I take should be stopped. Your blood thinners are nothing to do with a spiro which is simply a more sophisticated breathing test.
