I do. I guess sometimes it's just part of living. I do find I sometimes get very tired just before or after a flareup though - after, I guess is because my body has had to deal with the stress of the flareup. Before...I wonder if maybe low-level triggers are building and my body gets tired trying to deal with them - and then a couple of days later it becomes too much to cope with and my lungs kick off again.

I have M.E & OP # pain as well, so hard to know which nackers me the most! But yes, exertion makes asthma worse as does pollen count, my breath comes in short pants - with stripes on 😂 I find pacing, doing stuff in small bites then rest between each effort helps. And now I’m hungry… X

You may be experiencing overnight symptoms that you're unaware of and therefore experiencing daytime fatigue. If your oxygen levels are dropping overnight then that can cause fatigue and you may want to discuss this with your doctor as it shouldn't be ignored. The cause maybe overnight asthma symptoms or sleep apnea or something else, hence it's best to discuss with your doctor.

Or it could be a side effect of one or more of your medications. The patient leaflets will list all recorded side effects.

I used to suffer from early morning asthma when I was younger and it was only picked up while I was in hospital after an asthma attack, by monitoring my peak flow regularly throughout the day. They tweaked my meds regime and that really helped. But many a time I would come home from work and need a nap before I did anything else.

My sister has sleep apnea and was only diagnosed after being in hospital with covid. She suffered terribly with fatigue for years before her diagnosis and now she has a machine that assists her oxygen levels overnight and it's really transformed her health and wellbeing.

It may be worth keeping a symptom diary before you see your doctor as any pattern of symptoms may help in the diagnosis.

Hi, Yes I do have days like that. I also find on these days I can't get my breath, like a lack in oxygen, taking my salbutamol doesn't help . My GP sent me for heart tests but they were clear. So I just rest, but I am now retired so I have the luxury of being able to!
