I’m gradually changing over to bamboo. Apparently dust mites don’t like it because it doesn’t retain enough moisture for them. ( Or so it says)I haven’t got blankets, but my mattress protector is bamboo and I will be changing the duvet too
We use "coolmax" sheets and fleece blankets and wash them daily at 60C. These are hydrophobic materials that do not retain moisture. These materials dry out in 2 hrs (as opposed to cotton which takes 12-24 hrs). The mattress is an inflatable air mattress which is wiped daily. The pillow is a camping dry-bag in a coolmax pillow case which is washed at 60C daily.
Bamboo is still primarily cellulose which is hydrophilic, not sure why it would be different in terms of moisture-retainment.
