Roughly 12 hours apart is the ideal so morning and evening, whatever works for you, but try and keep yo roughly the same times for consistency.

I take mine around 8am then 8pm so 12 hours apart. I'm on the mart regime so can take extra puffs in that time which could be 4 to 6 hours apart.Like twinkly said try to keep to the same time am/pm.
