Just re-sharing EmmaF91 's brilliant post for "what to do and when" as I've noticed various posts in the last couple of weeks with people having issues (or possible issues).
At this time of year, issues are highly likely with it being spring (and not having pollen or weather changes as a known trigger definitely doesn't mean it can't become one).
Equally, there are many things that cause breathlessness or night wakings that are nothing at all to do with asthma (and having asthma doesn't mean that a breathing symptom is related to asthma).
However, asthmatics should follow their asthma plan for what to do when issues or possible issues occur (if you don't have a plan, the simple answer is you need one!)
