Hi scents of any kind are a no no for me. A few years ago I went for a massage and had to leave it was so embarrassing I couldn’t stop coughing. Sometimes perfume has the same effect but not always. You are not alone.Hope this helps.!Thank you for such an informative friendly sight I am so grateful. Stay safe.

I have the same problem. I find I react severely to scents. My eyes water, I will get a headache, and I will get congested. My wife will not wear perfume because I react and I will not wear anything scented.

Perfumes give me headaches too. Fresh air is my friend. Love your cat! 🥰

Gorgeous kitty djbctla, yes perfume or all sorts be it actual perfume or perfumes in household products are awful for me. I used to dread being given a seat near someone wearing powerful perfume in a cinema or theatre. Would never use room fresheners either. I don’t think we’re alone. There is a very smart dress shop in a town near us who has a notice on the door saying ladies wearing a certain type of perfume may not come in - it lists three or four makes. Presumably the owner or assistant finds it difficult to be in the company of people wearing them - either that or the perfume is so str8ng it clings to any clothes they try on.
