My 7 year old severe asthmatic starts to wheeze when he is in the bath. He does not wheeze before or straight after.
Has anyone else come across this?

Steam and warm/damp air can trigger some people's asthma so it could be this. Or a product being used but the steam thing is really common as a trigger. Many people recommend steam to help because it helps their asthma - but equally it's really not good for others.
Many tried an open window if you can or at least the door open, and a cooler bath, to see if that helps.
I agree with Twinkly29 - steam definitely sets me off, even just the amount you get in a bath!
Also agree with checking the products - some florals or citruses can be triggers, or 'fragrance' elements. On the other hand, I personally find that kind of trigger tends to have a lingering effect so the steam may be a more likely culprit!
Hi I’d agree with the others. Steam can be a big trigger for some asthmatics so opening a window or having a cooler bath may help. Or it’s a recent thing can you associate it to a change of products you use? Lungs can be finicky - sometimes a change of ‘flavour’ despite it being the same brand can be enough 😅 (I have this with washing detergent)
It’s also worth pointing out this issue to his doctors so it can be recorded as a trigger!
Is he the same in the shower? I know baths are more fun, but they don't sound like fun for him.
