Hi, I’m 18 and have asthma for many years, but just got diagnosed 8 months ago. This Coronavirus is really scaring me, It’s getting me depressed and giving me anxiety. I stay at home but my family members go outside like nothing matters, they just say I’m overreacting, they don’t understand the stress that I’m going through, there healthy but if I get this I would probably die, and that’s my worst fear. I really want some advice how to cope with this and how severe would my asthma be if I get Coronovirus, because I think I will get it from one of my family members. I can’t really find anybody who would feel the pain that I’m feeling. It’s like a constant black cloud over my head, it’s daytime but it feels like a living nightmare, I can’t take this anymore. On top of my asthma I have tachycardia for many years, I take beta-blockers to control my heartbeat. I just hate my life right now. I wish I could be all normal and healthy like the rest of the kids my age group.

Hi sorry you are feeling like this you are not alone im in my 60s its a worrying time for all .Keep taking your medication try and stay calm take yourself away in a room play music dance or watch a good movie try and take your mind of the coronavirus. Over the years people have annoyed me by their ignorance to my condition but they don't understand that's why they haven't got a clue how it feels not to be able to breathe properly but it hasn't stopped me from achieving my goals . Don't forget we are special people like a big asthma family 🙂 and you are never alone we are in this situation all together hope this helps you to feel more calmer keep safe .
