Going home!

Hi, this is just an update to everyone who kindly responded to my request for help a week ago. We are now going home today, finally feel a bit better after two further emergency visits since Monday and then one today to get a fit to fly certificate otherwise our insurance company were going to organise a later flight date and to be accompanied by a doctor.

Certainly an unforgettable holiday! Now just to deal with my own GP this coming week. I have so much paperwork and even a new diagnosis! Hard to say how things are going to go from here but thankfully my appointment this week is with my lovely GP who knows me well.

It’s been very scary at times and I’d like to think that life will return to some sort of normal at some point but certainly won’t be leaving the country anytime soon!

Hope everyone is ok and keeping warm in the cold weather. Now the frantic run up to Christmas when I will trying to be doing lots of online or very local shopping. Xxx

It's good to know you're feeling a bit better. What an ordeal you've had. I hope your flight goes well and you can get back to some kind of normality once you're home 🤞

Thanks HungryHufflepuff, slightly nervous about the flight, but hopefully will get some sleep, haven’t had too much recently. Always nice to be in your own home so I’ll certainly be glad to be home once I get there.

Thanks twinkly29, arrived in uk, feeling a bit wobbly, had about 5 hours sleep, so best sleep in two weeks! Thanks for comment. X

Thanks Nifferluck, just a case of waiting now to see my GP and see where I go from here, but nice to be home. Grandkids came to see me yesterday just after we got home so that is always great for taking your mind off things! All the best.

Nice to read you made it back home. Hope the GP is helpful now. You have your paper work. Stay calm and stay grounded in what you want. Only you and husband know how bad you have been and felt. Good luck.
