Leaving work on blue lights!!

Hi everyone, well what a stressful day, went to work feeling slightly tight chested, as usual. Used my puffer a few times but really didn’t help.

I ended up in a full blown attack, legs went to jelly, pins & needles, waves of panic. Like i was going to pass out.

Super scary, my boss called an ambo, went in on blues & twos,

apparently an aschemic Ecg (???) so being kept in for tests tomorrow, possibly an angiogram.

I wonder whether i will get some answers & whether any underlying heart issue might be picked up & if treated, may just start my road to recovery.

How incredibly scary for you. I hope you are soon on the road to recovery.

How are you now? Have they managed to find any answers get as to why you became so tight and wheezy so quickly? Something had already irritated your lungs earlier in the day. Wishing you well. Very frightening time for you, luckily it will fade in time as you recover. Give yourself lots of time to repair and recover.

Hi, i have just returned home. It appears it could be heart related. I have been given aspirin, Gtn spray & a statin, awaiting an angiogram in outpatients.

Thankyou for asking x

Take care, and don't forget to keep on top of your maintenance medication for your Asthma/ mild COPD. You don't want to end up in hospital again. I have had Asthma all my life, and Eczema, and now severe COPD and Osteoporosis, and I would not be half so bad if I had listened better to my body, and gone to see the GPs sooner, rather than later. Luckily I never over used my Ventolin which can affect your heart, if too much is used. Oh, and always read the instructions.. let 7s know how you are getting on

Thanks for the update, ironically I had just gone onto the site to ask how you were doing now! So glad someone beat me to it as your answer was already there! Be gentle with yourself and hoping your road to recovery is a smooth ride! 🤞🏻👍🏻

Thankyou. I slept well & feel a little better this morning.

Although slightly more confused!! Will know more after angiogram done through outpatient appt.

Hope you are well x
