Apple’s own app is one option (although it is iPhone only). See this link...
I use the PEF log asthma tracker app and have done for 7 months now. Easy to use and the chart & report can be printed, texted or emailed if you need it. I print mine to take to appointments and found it very useful as have the clinicians. It used to be a free app but I think it has recently changed and costs just over £1. I guess as it was becoming popular?! Still excellent value for a one off purchase in my mind. Well worth using an app, whichever you end up using.
I’ve started using Smartpeakflow. You need to plug a device for breathing into into your iPad. Seemed helpful at first, graphs n all, but I ended up with a very high rogue reading, more than twice my usuals, and since then I keep being told I’m in a danger zone and should make my way to hospital...bit alarming but obviously not true. I’m resetting and trying again, because it did seem useful at first.
There’s a two week trial then a one off payment of about £35 if you keep it. Thought it might provide a useful record for reviews. Hoping to get my money’s worth at least!
