Holiday abroad in the sun

Everytime I go away in a hotter country my asthma is fine but I end up with a throat infection does anybody else suffer like this .

If I travel (the only way I travel lately is by train, and they are always WAY overcrowded) I always come back with a sore throat or a cold. Maybe it's just the actual travel - the recycled air in the plane, etc - that causes your throat infection? The crowding with lots of folks, some of them coughing or sneezing...

Could be the aeroplane air conditioning ill have to look for something to take before I fly .

when I travel by plane I always get chest infection so have started to wear a mask and have noticed my infections are less .hope this helps

I also end up with an infection, usually on my chest when I travel by plane (or coach) I tend to try and make sure the aircon that’s above my head if turned off just in case that doesn’t help, but still end up with a nasty chest infection which takes hold and usually takes a good 2-3 weeks to shift
