Headaches.

Does anyone wake up with headaches? I get one most mornings. Sometimes just a dull headache, but sometimes. Like today a thumping headache. My asthma nurse said it may be due to oxygen levels during the night.

Yes, frequently. I also wonder if it sometimes is due to lying awkwardly, so that there is muscular strain in the neck, going into the scalp. I had never thought of the lower oxygen levels......an interesting g thought!

Sometimes. It could be for a number of reasons, though. I sleep weird and it twists my neck, my asthma is acting up, I am on the verge of catching a cold... I generally try to figure out what the prominent symptoms are and go from there, but they often interconnect.

I often wake up with headaches, more so In summer months. My asthma nurse said it’s also caused by my sinus problems that goes along with my usual worsening asthma problems hence I often have to double up when I need to

I can’t lay down. I am lucky enough to have an electric bed. I sleep better because I’m upright.

Yes often but I find if I drink water when I am awake during the night it improves to a slight thump

I must get through about 500 mls a night, as I’m so dry. Sometimes the mucous is so thick, it wakes me up. I now have a nebuliser box, that I use saline with. This helps to losen the secretions.

Yes sadly, I wake most mornings with a headache, most pass off once I’m up and showered and moving about, but some linger all day . I have Emphysema and Asthma xx
