I had been very fit, mountaineering and fell walking at least three times a week. I took a trip from Perth, Australia to London and had to be admitted to hospital as an emergency. I have had a form of asthma ever since. (Tracheal asthma) I'd like to discuss this with anyone who has suddenly become asthmatic following a flight.

Aerotoxic Asthma
It's a completely new condition to me. Your best bet is the asthma nurse at Asthma UK. Give them a call on 0300 222 5800.
Thanks for that information.
One of the key symptoms of 'Aerotoxic Syndrome' (poisoning with organophosphates through leakage into cabin air) is difficulty in breathing. The aviation industry like to term this 'hyperventilation', however, after my official complaint the hospital re-evaluated me and diagnosed 'tracheal asthma'. During the flight my nasal passages blistered and I suspect the damage went further into my trachea.
I think this condition is new to most people! Pilots and cabin crew are fighting the industry to get this recognised because, of course, they are being affected too.
I'll make the phone call.
