For the past two days I've had a coming and going mild chest ache that seems to wander around chest and is better when lying down. My chest muscle also seems to be slightly achy, and it seems to ache more when I take a deep breath. My GP said muscular-skeletal strain but a breathing test I had a few months ago said I have very slightly below average oxygen intake per breath. My pulse, blood pressure, etc is all fine. My mother thinks it could be asthma, dad thinks it's chest strain. Do you believe this is asthma, costochondritis, or what?

Have you had any tests for your chest? Like spirometer or peak flow meter?

Hi if you had asthma you would be finding it hard to breathe and probably wheeze too. I would give it a week or so and see if it heals by itself, If it doesn't then go back to the doctors,
