Hi I learnt to d da damp dust at college many years ago which I now is one of most effective ways to get rid of dusting. I also know that vacuuming your mattress, washing bedding at high temperature, washing soft toys and/or freezing them. ? Using a vacuum cleaner with a hep filter really help.

I have heard that all bedding and towels should be washed at a minimum of 60 degrees to be sure of killing off the dust mites.

Also blinds instead of curtains, and wooden floors instead of carpets are better for asthmatics.

Also either wash your pillows frequently or better still buy new ones every 6 months. x

I found this amazing TV documentary about removing allergens that cause asthma....quite an eye opener. Worth watching it through. Still trying to locate Part 2.

Found part 2 of the documentary. Seems one can beat asthma...if its triggered by aero allergens.
