One for the ladies. At the dreaded age suffering from bad tropical moments ( hot flushes) I was thinking of asking Dr to go on hrt tablets but not sure if it would be possible on the asthma meds I'm on . Can any ladies help xx

As with anyone this is personalized. You need to discuss the pro & cons with a GP or your asthma specialist,

Personally I can't as hormones are a trigger but my friend does and it makes her life bearable

I've had asthma all my life. Had HRT & felt terrific! Your GP will advise you but I haven't heard that it conflicts with asthma meds.

Having just turned 40 this year and realising thaty as ta hard been deteriorating every time hormones changed I went to doctor. On substantial amount of asthma meds but as I at risk of clots due to genes. Si doctor agreed to put me on progesterone only pul (mini pill). Lower disk and no contraindication with other meds. My asthma has been much better and I've had not worsening due to hormone changes. Hope they can recommend something for you that helps xxx

I have asthma and went on HRT no problems.

Hi just read your post. I have hrt gel that you rub into your thighs. I've been on it 20 yrs since I had hysterectomy. I've only used half dose for the last 5 yrs. I've had no problems with it. It dosnt cause the same problems as tablets. Best wishes x

Sorry forgot to say I have brittle asthma and on a lot of meds. 🙈
