Week 4 still mucus cough and irritation

Hi 4 weeks ago I had an attacj went to hospital I.v. of pred and sent home.it was better for about 10 days and then returned with force. I am still having that awful irritation so cough for relief is productive most of the time . Is this normal why am I still coughing with all this white or clear mucus

Go back to your GP and ask for a referral to a respiratory consultant is my advice.
