What Disease Do I Have?

Dear Sir/ Madam,

My name is ghalib i am 14 years old. I have allergy with scents, dusts, fumes, smoke (polluted) / Black Smoke or White Smoke not cigarette. My Great Grandfather had asthma so as my Grandfather has and my Father has some allergy but not quite like mine. I got allergic from many other things like in my country there is a special season for cutting of wheat / pollen myths i got allergic to them.

Some times my breathe is stuck. Sometimes My breath is shortened and about 10 minutes may be i have to breathe through my mouth and in this course i got a headache and got watery eyes and you know the situation in which i think i am going to fall on the floor. And I am allergic to kerosene / petrol / Bond, Chemicals and other things like these.

Sometimes i cough too much at night

Sometimes i dont even cough one time.

Please tell me what should i do.

Also With these symptoms my heart beat increases i can hear them.

and my chest is tightened and some whistling sounds which i make from my mouth

Well i have went to the doctor but he said that you have allergic asthma and you should eat medicines but the medicines have many side effects. Due to which i only use one which is anti allergic but it donot perform quickly it is cetrizine di hidrochloride

Cetrizine 2HCL

should i use an inhaler

Beclomethasone dipropionate with this formula

the medician recommends me this

it's name is bekson forte hfa

he said that it is made for children and no need for spacer is required

I am also allergic to all sorts of things even the artificial colours in foods as well as dust wheat, dairy, hay fever mold etc.... See you doctor as soon as possible for diagnosis. It dangerous having untreated asthma.

Hi

I am a school nurse if you were one of my students then my advice would be to speak to your parents/carer and if you are feeling unwell then they probably need to take you back to the doctor. Also if your doctor had given you any medication then you should take it exactly as prescribed, if you feel it is not helping or you have side effects then you should go back to your doctor.

But I think the first thing would be to speak to someone at home.

My son a similar to yourself takes the medicines you mention.

Becotide (Brown preventer) Ventolin (Blue reliever) and the allergy med's cetirizine.

I have had asthma since a child also and use to the numerous types of meds.

You need to take the brown one all the time as it is a preventer both am and pm or as gp prescribes and the blue when needed.

Please Speak to parents about symptoms it is really important that they know as you need asthma reviews when symptoms change.

My son didn't wake me up when he had a bad attack at night and he was very poorly.
