Bronchial thermoplasty
OO. Sounds inteesting - are you getting it done? Tell me more. Will have to look this up.
Looks interesting. Something to think about if it does stop even half the infections we get. Worth thinking about.
Oh brilliant! When did you have it done Michael1962? Have you had benefit from it? What about side effects? Do you think you have had any? One last questionL: where did you have this done?
That's it! Sorry for all the questions. Enjoy this lovely sunny day we are having.

About 5 years ago. I was done under clinical trials. I used to take about 10 puffs of ventolin a day and 8 puffs of steroid. I now only use seretide once at night. Also all the usual allergies cats dogs dust mites etc I seem to have built up a bigger resistance. I believe this is now available on some NHS trusts. I have had zero side effects
Please could you tell me a bit more about this, as it has been suggested to me to consider as well as xolair. Just waiting on all my bloods and results to come back. From my ct I have thickening and consultant suggested this treatment. I am 41 and had asthma on and off at varying degrees throughout my life.
If you google bronchus industries and bronchial thermoplasty. Also ask your gp or asthma nurse at your surgery
