Just wondered if incredible thirst is due to the pred I'm on? I've been on pred before but only ever had 5 days worth at a time, this time I've been on it for about 14 days so far and have to stay on it for another 15 days. I've drunk almost 3 litres already today and it's only lunch time!

Hi, just a thought, pred can increase blood sugar levels and I know high blood sugar can cause thirst? Perhaps see gp and tell them this? X
Thank you laurs, is it just a temporary rise in blood sugar ie when I stop the pred, it'll return to normal?
