Replacing neb. cups/spacers-Do you prefer certain products?

Hi guys,

So I was reading up on my neb. last night (LOL I think I must have been bored!!), and it was saying to replace the reuseable medication cup every 6 months. What I was wondering is I only use my neb. when I'm sick, which is for several weeks at a time throughout the year (like this attack around I'll probably use it 3-4 weeks). But I was wondering if I don't use it daily, could I really replace the parts once a year? Or am I missing something?

Also, I find I get attached to certain brands of spacers, because I just feel their better made, last longer, and are easier to clean. I use an aerochamber, but for some reason the pharmacies have stopped stocking them. I think the other option they now have is cheaper, but now as well made.

Do you find you get attached to your tools? I also recently bought a new peak flow meter, that has been on my list for a long time to get, only to find out it measures my PF several points higher, so I'm not so sure when would be a good time to switch over, if you see what I mean!
