New user in search of advice?

Hi! I am a 30 year old female that was diagnosed with acute brittle asthma at the age of 17. I have recently had a major flare up and looking for some advice and ideas on how i can get rid of the constant tightness, breathlessness and inability to lead a normal life. I am currently on a cocktail of drugs and nebulised at least 4 times a day.

It all began with yet another chest infection! ( We all know that huh!) and I was hospitalised for two weeks, now been sent out and told that this could take up to 8 weeks for my airways to calm down!

I am looking for people who have had similar experiences and what you have tried that has worked to help alleviate the tightness and spasms my chest is constantly going into.

i am not able to be left alone because one minute i feel ok (still tight but can cope with it) and next i can't breathe with my airways restricting!

Hope you can help

:-)
