teens on here?

i was wondering if there was any teens on here that are thinking about or are going on the holidays or who are just willing to chat- if there are message me or reply because i would like to chat with some people my own age

Hi Georgie, Nothing to do with teens but I am replying to your private message about how my teenage son copes with school. It is very difficult to keep up with school work when he is off a lot but here are a few things that have helped.

He has most of the revision guides for his subjects - CGCP are very good and you can buy the guides online or a good WH Smiths sells them. As he starts GCSEs next year, I will buy the revision guides for his subjects.

I have also purchased some of the textbooks he uses in class so he has a copy at school and one at home - teachers tell him which chapters they've covered in a lesson he's missed.

School asked another boy in his class to let my son photocopy any missed work and my son asks teachers what he's missed if he's been off.

When he fell behind in Maths I found him a tutor who he went to on an irregular basis for a year. This helped a lot. Also got a French tutor for a few months to go over basics. For German we brought a Berlitz computer programme which has been very useful.

None of it is ideal but it's better than nothing. Good luck with school and if I think of anything else I will let you know.
