still struggling

Have been really struggling now since last monday. Work is unbelieveable...I now wish I hadn't gone back even part time. I have to work for financial and I also love my job just don't love where I do it...I can't carry on with it, not sure of way forward. I know that stress plays a part with my asthma, had a horrendous spring and summer with much time in hospital. I feel that I am slipping back, my chest is wheezy and tight all the time and since last monday has been quite bad two trips to a and e bad. I feel stuck...and not sure what to do.

Just wanted a rant really

Oh Honey really know where you are coming from, I feel like its never ending at the min, but dont have the financial issues to make me work so thats added pressure for you, not sure I can say anything helpful but maybe it might help to know your not alone!

If it helps then rant away, hugs

Honey so sorry to hear youre struggling. i cant really know what it's like, as i'm still at uni, although i also have financial troubles... but just to let you know i sympathize and will be thinking and praying for you. best of luck with it all.

Really sorry you're having a bad time again. You know what I think about work. Try not to get too caught up in how much you are ""supposed"" to be doing (although I don't take my own advice, hence me being ill after only 3 weeks!) Make sure you take enough time to recover if you have A&E visits, know from experience it takes a long time so don't feel pressured to get back too soon as you will keep bouncing back.

Know you already know this as you told me the same thing in the summer :)

thanks

thanks

I understand frustrations over work... but have you thought about agency? at least can fit arounf better with how you feel...

It might be worth considering dealing with the stress issues in what way you feel would help more. I see a pyschologist to talk through mine but also found accupuncture and pilates helped.

But at teh end of the day money doesnt buy health and only get once chance of life

Thanks Biz Kid! Agency which would be supply teaching is something I am exploring at the moment...just need to sort out references etc. I really understand what you say about 1 life... Do see clinical psychologist already have done for past 6 years she is great...thanks for the prompt I have made an appoinment to see her earlier than already booked. I spoke to my GP today and he said when he was filling in form for my DLA application in the summer he had to review my last 3 years of health and when he was doing it got a bit of a shock at how bad it has been...actually he wasn't quite as polite. We talked about possibilities for future and sub cut was mentioned again but this time with a bit more promise! Back at work tomorrow but feeling a little more positive

I also was awarded DLA mobility highest rate and care lowest...am really pleased. Did not have to appeal or anything. It was quite a shock.
