I left her a while back after a few problems but thought I would try rejoining again.

Toby the border collie is being good since we lost the boxed dog but he gets very protective and clingy when I get bad and sits with his head on my lap and wont move !!

Hows uni going ?? how you coping with it all ??

Me having a rough time lately but things deteriated badly last autumn when after 18mths no admissions they started again and even worse than the last 16yrs worth !!

But got moved back to an old consultant who knows me as the one I was with left me in lurch with no care at all !!

I find out on 27th if I am suitable for Xolair and am desperately trying to not be admitted right now but stupid infections winning today so far but on day 2 of double max dose zithromax and have to have telithromycin if this dont work (bloods and sputum shows its bad) !!

Still on high dose steroid tablets (betamethasone tabs - 24 tablets = 12mg which is equiv of 80mg pred) and have been on mega dose for 8mths and am missing just taking the 12 tablets instead !!

Just good to see some old faces still here !!

Toby sounds so sweet. Sandie likes to sit with her head on my lap if she is all concerned about me too. Give him a belly rub from me. Sandie enjoyed hers.

I am enjoying uni, training to be an Occupational Terrorist but hoping not to be a crap one! lol! At least I have lived being a disabled person so I don't think I'm going to be a horrible one.

Its lovely living with the other half now and to not have to do the travelling.

Lungs have been good up until last Saturday and then they had a strop. Just staying warm and getting them back into shape again. Seeing cons on Tuesday which is good.

Stupid hospitals chucking you out cos of bed shortage. Take care of yourself. They were considering admitting me yesterday but chucked me out because I didn't meet their protocol! Ah well so far I've managed at home and now the steroids are kicking in I should be ok.

Welcome back, Donna! It's great to see you again. I was just thinking about you the other day and wondering how you were doing. Do take care honey, especially while your lungs are so precarious. I do hope you pick up soon and feel lots better.

Beth - Toby hasnt left my side since I got home and keeps nudging me to check I am okay - hes the best dog I've ever had for alerting me to issues - they are alot more intelligent than some people I know think they are - their lifelines in some cases!

Hi Becky - I am glad to be back but I wish it wasnt because my lungs are so stroppy. Hope you doing okay?

I am hoping that when I speak to my own resp team tomorrow that they can do something as right now I cant go back to A+E as the same consultant is on ""step down"" (5 bed unit after Resus) so need to hold out till my team are working or available on phone then if needs be they can do a direct admittion and get me stabler!

Donna please can you let me know which hossi chucked you out? I am doing a little research and I would like to look into somethings that are occurring. Just the hossi and time you were ammited and time you asked to leave will be fine.
