Hi Kizz,
I have just read your post and don't know what Inhalers you are on. If you are on a reliver only I suggest you go to your doctor does your surgery have an asthma clinic if so make an appointment to go and see them you might need a preventer inhaleras well. they will also check your peak flow they might give you a peak flow meter to use at home.
If you are already on a preventer you might need a higher doseage and tell you what do if your asthma gets bad (i.e) colds you may get.
Hope this is useful
Michele.
Hey i've added you on msn :o)
Hi,
Sorry to hear things havent been going to well!
Dont know if i can advise you but i can offer my experience!
Last year i had a pretty rough time with my asthma and unfortunately this hit me during my last year of teacher training.
I had to take three weeks out of uni and almost the same time out of school. Luckily my mentor was very supportive and gave me notes/reduced my responsibilities so i could catch up.
The best piece of advice .... listen to your body if you need to rest you should - in the long run you will catch up sooner.
Having managed (somehow) to pass and qualify i now tutor those having had time off for medical reasons in addition to normal teaching.
Would one of your tutors at college be able to provide you with an hour one day to run through any work missed?
I know teachers moan and shout - but we will also help you out when you need it!
Keep your eyes set on uni - its a great goal !
Hope your feeling better soon
