Cheers Blue Jam, did Miss Hooley send you a card then? Richard took me for lunch yesterday, just as well, as he is laid up with a Flu Virus today. Also he went through my ruck sack looking for ""Fat Balls"" for the birds and discovered his card before I had filled it in. Thought it was safe in there. Thought a girl's bag was private!

Happy Valentines Day Ladies

I was so wrapped up in reading this forum the other night, that I didn't notice my husband take out a card, write it in front of me then to walk past my chair to the hall, drop a red envelope on the doormat and then rattle the letter box flap while saying - Postman's been!

All this at 11:59 at night and it never crossed my mind to wonder why. Oops!!

No excuse, as my chair is right beside the glass paned door to our hall so why I never noticed, I can only blame this good forum on here. Hooked I was. LOL

Noticed when he stumped up the stairs in a huff, though. Double oops! Rapidly poured a glass of milk, raced up the stairs, slid my wardrobe door back and extracted the fortunately already signed card for him then used the excuse that downstairs, I'd thought he was saying something about our barometer, which he taps almost constantly then comments on the pointers progress to dry or, more usually, wet weather.

Waffled on re barometer and then we opened our respective cards - mine to him turned out to be the bigger. 8)

Argument forgotten, drank our milk and admired the cards.
