Hi

I was wondering wot the best way was to raise my mattresses. As get bad chesty coughs during winter and starting to struggle with sleep on a night time any surgestions will be great.

Hi Ranger10.

put phone books under the bed at your head.

this works better than extra pillows and dont get a stiff neck xxx

Also do you use A mattress cover ? that will help also xxxx

I dnt really own any books. But i do have a mattresses cover on thou.

I prop myself up on pillows - put first one down as normal, then 2 more on top at an angle, then 2 more on top of that. So I am half sitting up supported by the pillows. It's not ideal but I can't lie down anyway when very wheezy. I learnt it from my hospital days - think it was known as a 'hospital chair'.

Invest in a beanbag!! They are amazing, you can get comfy while being upright and you can actually get to sleep!
