my voice is going. which means the kids can play up. also means my asthma's gonna be on a down turn. it's the summer holidays. i need to be able to talk and play!

I hope that you can keep the asthma under control.

Maybe it's a good time to encourage the kids to learn a bit of sign language? That's a serious suggestion! I remember learning with my brother and some friends from school when I was quite young, and we had a wonderful time. I bet our parents were super grateful for the silence as well!

funny you should say that LOL. Before Sian went to school she was taking BSL lessons. And was good at it. Then she went to school and they use makaton, but only in the FSU not so much further up. I want to get some lessons for them this summer.

This is dead spooky! A friend and I were only saying this afternoon that it might be interesting (and possibly helpful at some point) to learn sign language.

Sian was really good at it. It's finding someone that isn't going to cost a fortune and has availability during the holidays! I do have one person but I can't catch them easily at school :o/
