does anyone know how long this lasts in the body is it one year or longer?

i think it lasts ages, but only against swine flu, not other types. i think its like when you're a kid and you get MMR jabs that last all your life!

hate to diappoint you but am pretty sure its only for a year as looking at vaccinating every year with seaaonal flu but not sure if they were looking into combing the 2

I thought seasonal flu jabs didn't run out, but the flu in season changed. Is that not right?

I was also under the impression that it was the seasonal flu virus that changed, not the injection that ran out

Its definitely 100% a one off. The reason you have the seasonal flu jab every year is because its a different strain, swine flu is a sepecific strain of flu (H1N1) so once you have had the vaccine you are immune for life (as with the seasonal flu one, its just that you get a vaccine against a different strain every year).
