First appointment with the respiritory consultant?

Hi all

I have my first appointment with the respiritory consultant May 2nd. What normally happens on your first appointment?

Didn't know whether to take my mum for moral support or not

my first consultants appointment resulted in a whistlestop tour of the hospital!! i think the norm would be a spiro, weight, BP, sats and pulse check, x-rays and a chat to the doctor, i would advise taking someone for moral support.

Thanks for your reply Wendy. I know i have to have a scan, but i wasn't sure whether it would be done on my first visit.
