Good luck with your grommet op. My little boy has had 3 lots of grommets over 6 years. Each time they make a huge difference with his hearing and ear pain. So he says having them done is definately worth it. The actual op only takes about 10 - 15 mins so its quite a simple. He also has asthma and had no problems during all 3 ops. The drs always make sure he takes his ventolin inhaler just before the op. He had some ear ache after but calpol took away the pain. By the next day he was back to his normal energetic self.

All the best!!
