I'm sure I've seen a fairly recent post but can't find it. I'm trying to buy protectors but there are loads out there and the difference in prices is amazing. I'm looking for comfortable ones but don't want to pay more than I have to.
Can anyone recommend the ones they use now?

I've recently bought mattress and pillow protectors made by Silentnight. They weren't too expensive and feel nice too!
ive got covers - some silent night and some others but cant remember where from- they arent that expensive now but argos do them quite reasonable x
I brought a matress protector from M&S recently. John Lewis also do a range (can order online too). I bang our pillows outside and hang them on the line in the sun. Amazing how much dust comes out even with protectors.
I also shake the matress protectors out everytime I make our beds (twice a week) and again, a lot of dust comes out.
Quilted ones are so comfy they have definatley made my bed more cozy !! You can also get quilt/duvet(which ever word u use)
Mine as just simple anti allergy quilted protectors and I do admit it brought a set from a linen shop there own brand and j much prefer my new ones more comfy x
I used to vacumn everything but the allergy cons told me it would be good to get these too. I'll avoid hanging them outside though -- pollen doesn't get on with me.
Edit: Matalan looks like the cheapest/easiest option to get them for me. Just in case anyone else's thinking about it - or knows anywhere cheaper.
TS - just read your comment about not hanging bed stuff outside because of the pollen.I hang pillows/blankets etc all the time hoping the sun will kill off the dust mites - never thought of pollen... you just cant win in this business can you??
angievere - yep. Doctor went through the allergy test results. Said that I can't really do much about any but dust, nothing new there. Then suggested I opened windows regularly. But won't that let the pollen in I said. Hmmm.
Its not all bad - I'm gonna have a bed thats loads more comfortable by the end of the weekend
