Basically i am wanting to join the army and want to end up with no drugs so i can do this and be drug and symtom free for 4 years, wondering if anyone has got any tips or any adivce - and yes i have talked to my doctor about this and agrees it should be possible aslong as i dont push myself to far too soon.

Hi Kat,

Congratulations! I'm so pleased to hear that your asthma is getting better - it's always really nice to hear good news stories.

I'm afraid I don't really have any specific advice about getting off medication and remaining well controlled - except, obviously, as you say, following the advice of your doctor and not pushing too far, too soon. I'm sure you will get there in the end, even if there are set-backs along the way.

I do wish you the very best of luck.

Take care,

Em
