just a quicky how often should they be checked and who can do them i.e. GP/cons/asthma nurse?

I would ask my consultant if levels needed checking between appointments/admissions and how often. I have had mine done at the GP's after the RBH requested they were done and the HCA who takes the blood did the actual vampire bit.

thanks bex, its just i dont think mine have been checked since november and i ve been to local cons and he didnt mention anything? not sure if they should have been checked seen as asthma nusrse in london does it but i missed her appointment as i was in cardiff ... so basically maybe think they need checkin but not sure hu to ask?

Katie, you could just toddle to your GP and explain why you want them checked I am sure they won't object to running a theophylline level.
