Hi Titchy, Sorry to hear u r not well. 'Fraid it's the same for a lot of us - this time of the year is a real pain for colds etc and asthma. My teenage son and I started taking extra vits over a year ago (vit C and good quality multi-vit) and I think that helped. Also he takes Pholcodine cough linctus when he has a bad cough, and again, that helps. GP first prescribed it but I buy it over the counter now.

Nope, I get like this every winter. Right now have ANOTHER temp and just generally feel YUCK.

Best advice is if your concerned, see your doc

x

You're definitely not alone, titchy: I saw my GP yesterday for much the same reason and I was saying to her that I thought I had been dong so well this year, not having had to see her before November.

Now I have my 2nd set of antibiotics for a sinus infection and have had a cold/cough for too many weeks which has resulted in a low PF and a week's worth of prednisolone. I teach, so seem to pick up every bug that flies around - once I'm away from school it seems to clear up for me. If you're constantly getting symptoms, I'd definitely suggest a check-in with your GP.

thank you
