spacers
I use the volumatic but only for my Seretide at home.
When I went on holiday I got an aerochamber as it was less likely to break in my suitcase but mine had a mouthpiece rather than mask, could you ask the pyharmacy to swap it if you haven't opened it, or ask for another prescription?
i use my volumatic in the house and it works much quicker and take my areochamber out with me. even using that outside makes me feel daft but ive accepted that id rather look like a 5year old than suffer the symptoms. must admit i have only seen kids use the masks except when ive been admitted but if it helps i would give it a go x
If you haven't opened the packet I'd try to change it at the pharmacy, otherwise get another prescription and make sure that it's not for another spacer with a mask.
My GP has previously made the mistake of prescribing me the aerochamber with a mask, it was a mistake though and easy to fix
It took me a looooong time to use my spacer in public, and I'm not sure I would if it had a mask on it for the same reason as you.
