has anyone had experience with porta cath am currently on day 6/7 of admission needing lots of iv drugs but veins kept collapsing so was taken to theatre to have themeral line put in groin this has been sucsessful but is only temp now they are on about a porta cath has anyone got 1 or any info on them

There are some threads about this somewhere. I think Bex has one? I also think she may be in RBH at the moment so she may not see this. I'll dig around in past posts and see what I can find.
