Does anyone else get perfectly spherical spheres of phlegm that are cloudy in colour and cough up pretty hard, almost like teeny grapes? I asked my resp nurse but she didn't know of them? They come and go but am starting to cough them up again
Thanks

Yeap I get them alot. It's dried up inhaler resadure that has clinged to the airway tissue. All you can do is drink lots and lots of hot water as the steam goes into the airways when you swollow it and helps lossen the dired up resedure. Sounds strange but I was informed off this by a consultant 3 years ago know when I was in hospital during pregnancy due to a really bad asperation in my asthma before the birth of my youngest son and they sent a smaple of my flem the lab and thsi was the results that came back
Cheers AF
I think I will take a cup of hot water and lemon to try and dislodge them. They are so annoying. My chest feels like It has another chest infection so I am going to stay inside today and hibernate
