recently my becotide was changed from 2 puffs morning and night to 4 puffs morning and night...can any1 tell me wether there are any extra side effects while taking a higher dose or any extra precautions i need to take (e.g. avoidin ppl wiv chickpox ect)

It sucks needing to increase becotide doesn't it? Sorry you needed to.

I take it you are now on 400mcg twice a day. Shouldn't need to worry about people with chicken pox unless you haven't had it but would have thought that should't be any different to a hea;thy adu;t getting chicken pox. what you will have to watch is that you don't get a sore mouth and throat with thrush, ulcers etc. Use a spacer and rinse well after taking inhaler and clean your teeth. Drink pineapple juice (good for thrush) and if your mouth gets sore use throat lozengers etc.
