I was searching on ebay and found a number of items:

-sertide inhalor

-ventolin inhalor (from 2 different people)

I have reported them to ebay put please this needs to stop so if anyone find places/listing please report them!

I am a believer in access to drugs such as these needs to be controlled!

I've not so much a problem with legitimate medicine, as thats widely available from other sources if you really want to pay more than a prescription, just as long as it's genuine, and not some fake made to look like the real thing that has no effect or worse, ends up killing someone because its made from some equine or who knows what.

The quack ideas on ebay though are worrying, someone is selling a roll-on that claims to cure asthma, and another selling a low energy lightbulb with similar claims - must be a few mugs out there.

I am not so bothered about salbuatmol on ebay (although they are already more expensive than a perscription) but sertide its a seroid and therfore cant be stopped suddenly in theory. My concern is that someone will by it that wont need it or without checking the contra-indications first

Seratide can be stopped suddenly it is only long term oral steriods you must not stop suddenly. Of course stopping any medication without checking with your Dr is neither big or clever.

I wouldn't be concerned about Ventolin via an e-bay vendor. It is widely available but in general has to be approved as it is a POM in the UK, by a registered Doctor in the UK before being despatched. The fact is that in some countries such as Spain, or the Canary Islands and I think Morocco it is declassified to OTC medicine from POM. I forgot to take my Ventolin with me when I went to Tenerife, so asked at a Pharmacist who asked how many I wanted. I said 5 please and I got them OTC for £15 in Pesetas as it was then, which kept me going for about 6 months. They are unlikely to be life-threatening. I get mine now via the Web because I have developed a phobia of medical professionals due to too many near-death-experiences at the hands of medical staff, yet I did a Degree in Cardiology at UNI but it was specifically in a non-interventionist role.(Non-Invasive : Veins and capillary level only but never arterial). Now my notes forbid ANY intra-arterial procedures and a DNR directive. E-bay may well approve meds via their pages if they have checked out the bona-fides of the vendor. A well known UK supermarket sells them OTC if you can show a script you've already been issued with, for a Ventolin or other inhaler (3 for £10). They're not "legal-highs" and are made by the same manufacturer as what you get on prescription.
