Pred -Insomnia & Fatigue??

Hi all,

I'm new to the site but my asthma which is chronic has been my since pretty much birth. I wanted to ask does anyone else have the problem that when they take Pred they awake and alert but it gives you Insomnia and then you crash when you cant stay awake anymore from major fatigue??

The short answer to that is ...

YES ... DITTO ... YES !

I have become an professional insomniac ... and cat nap twenty or so minutes here and there usually twice daily when exhaustion hits me like a rock...

I actually can only recall two days this year when I slept more than three hours in one go... and by more than three hours I mean three and a half tops !!!

I have got very good at filling my nights with nonsenses... to pass the time!

Absolutely. Fantastic description of how it feels. You're definitely not alone! I'm only ever on short courses at the moment but they really wipe me out.
