On Seretide 250, two puffs, twice daily. I got bored filling in my Peak Flow chart and even more bored of blowing into the meter, a good few months back. My peak flow is 290 - 310, maybe 220 - 350 once or twice.
With a mostly unfilled-in peak flow chart, will I get my knuckles rapped when next see asthma nurse?
probably not, I know my asthma nurse has said she has a job to get people to give her an entire weeks worth, so you're not alone in not bothering, just maybe do it once in a while for comparison.
I agree with woody som, especially if your peak flows are steady and dont saw tooth about all over the place. If you do feel they are starting to get un controlled then just keep an eye on them again until it settles down again

im not brill at doing my peak flow chart as ive got a terrible memory. i tend to do mine when im having problems with my breathing. my best peak flow is getting slightly better-even up to 350 at times so i know what to look out for. if you know hat your best and worst is then the nurse shouldnt rap your knuckles x
I suggest that you do some randomly but also maybe do a weeks worth leading up to your appt- that is what i have been told to do in the past, plus also if you feel things are getting worse then start doing it more regulalry again.
I dont do mine everyday as i get very despondant with poor readings(80-150 at the mo best 290) but will keep a closer eye if things dont feel right. Be aware that also u can have reasonable pfs but also be quite symptomatic -so take that into consideration
