good luck with it,

Hello!
Are you taking a steroid inhaler as well?
I use serevent in the combined seretide inhaler - works OK for me....
Kate
Coudnt remember if had that one but yes I have had that one.
I had the disk one that was a powder one then my consultant changed it to seretide thats a steroid one
a purple inhaler xxxx
DIdnt have any problems with it xxxx
Son and I were both on serevent for a long time, didnt have any problems with it. We were changed to Seretide a few years ago.
Serevent gave me some quite bad heart palpitations but on Seretide I'm fine. I think it's like Salbutamol in that it stimulates your nervous system, so that's probably why.
wow thanks everyone I take quite a few meds for my chest .. pred pulincort neb sabutamol neb ventolin zafirlukast as well as the alendronic acid adcal ... the list goes on and on . I am also on bp pills i had a bad reaction to oxis when the dose was increased by my con. i have started the serevent and i cant stop the shakes and i cant sleep . is it best to go back to my gp ? or do you think the shakes wll stop ?
Hi Onlyme, Yes I think you should go back to GP if the shakes continue. Best to get checked out. Perhaps Serevent doesnt suit you? Hope u get it sorted.
My previous GP gave me Serevent even though I was already on Seretide (gives shakes too). The two together made me feel I could have run up Mount Everest. Unfortunately it gave me such a shaky hand. Soup kept shaking off the spoon.
