More info? I have never heard of it.

seemycells.co.uk/store/oxyg... it?

seemycells.co.uk/store/oxyg... it?

Looks a bit gimmicky to me.

Hmmm, if it worked AUK would have told us about it, also there are many of us on the boards that are seen or under the care of Difficult Asthma Clinics/Consultants so if it was any good we would know about it. I would give it a very wide berth unless AUK say its okay or the hospital. The magic wand for asthma is still elusive!

This came up a few weeks ago..... I looked at the information.... total gimmick.

( Had a good discusion on it but it was via private messaging...)

all it does is concentrate / enrich the O2 in the room you are in.... results etc may have been psychological ... ie people believed that it was helping them.

in a nut shell don't bother.

There is plenty of 02 in the air anyway 21% and if you are needing more oxygen they you should be in hospital.

If you do breathe enriched air then your body will get used to it and you will have problems when you go back to an ordinary atmosphere.

wonder why no price online, everything else looks expensive, I agree with the other posts, this would have come up as something others, especially with really serious asthma would be using or considered.

If you want to they extra O2, then why not opt for the cheaper O2 in a can seemycells.co.uk/store/oxyg..., or liquid oxygen (oxyshot puralife.co.uk/ ) used by sports people, and I've tried that in the pool before, did seem to make a difference.

Are there any further comments on this machine as all the previous posts were over 5 years ago and information supplied by the makers gives countless excellent testimonials from users? I have asked twice for comments from Asthma UK but not received any response yet.

hotrod, be aware you have no way of knowing whether those 'testimonials' are from valid users of the thing, or testimonials put on there by salesman... friends of salesman... and random made up people. I agree completely with Kate on this one. Companies like this rely on the desperation of folk to want to try anything, and cash in on that.
