To para- phrase Mrs Merton; what attracts those pouting model women to the multi million pound world of Formula One racing ??????????

Well it can only be the money, just had to endure the Formula One at my Father in Law's. Watching paint dry is more exciting. It's making me yawn just typing about it.

I've just noticed that the lead ""singer"" with the Pussycat Dolls is currently dating Lewis Hamilton... sorry, that should read ""2008 Formula One World Champion Lewis Hamilton"".

Is she trying to do another ""Posh & Becks"", where a talent-free ""singer"" dates a successful-style-icon-sportsman in the hope that their success will rub off?

Formula 1, tedium, boredom and mind numbing.

As a sport, synchronised swimming is more exciting.

Just to display my ignorance:

Lewis Hamilton comes 5th and wins and becomes 2008 Formula One World Champion

If he came 6th he would have lost

Pity about those that came 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th - just not good enough!

I can just hear Brucie

Good game, good game..!

Twizzle

Yep, that's about the size of it. Remember, it's not just one race! Over the course of the 18 races, Lewis has amassed the most points. Therefore, he's the winner.

It's much the same as a football league season; you can lose the last match of the season and still be champion if you've got enough points.
