Hello everyone, I hope all are well, Not been about for a bit, Shanes doing okish, has needed nebulising this week in school, what fun that was, even with the care plan in place they are still phoning. Tuesday the point blank refused to give him a neb, saying he needed some sort of plan for them to be able to, I hit the roof, screaming down phone that they should check there files b4 wasiting time as he has one in place. grrrr annoys me sometimes.
Anyways, why I havent been about. I have had the operation, pacermakers been fitted and seems to be working ok. Still alittle sore and still cant raise my left arm for another 4 weeks, hubby is wonderful thou taking care of house, kids and me.
I hope all kiddies and parents are not suffering too much.
Take care
Sharyn xx

any news???
Hi Sharyn, glad things went well with your op. Hope Shane is doing OK. Jay was in hospital last week, apparently affected by laminate flooring!! All the little particles from sawing and the dust from laying made him really ill.
How is your DLA claim coming on, they received my renewal claim on 1st Feb and have only just decided to write to Jays consultant, who is really slow at the best of times. I will probably have to wait months now for him to get round to filling out the form. Hope Shanes school are a bit quicker!
Let us know how it's all going,
Nikki
hi nikki, We still waiting on the DLA, They got reports back from his cons' and felt they needed to school to send one in too, which they sent during the easter holidays, which is about right hey lol, With now been waiting since Jan, but shouldnt be too much longer.I say fingers crossed. Know where ya coming from on them not rushing themselves. As for shanes school we have a review comming up next week of his care plan and i will be bringing up some issues there regarding the office staff not checking records first.
Hope Jays not to badly effected by the sawing dusts, and that having the floring down will help settle him more.
