it can well be. Psoriatic arthritis is a disease in its own right.

Go to the website of Arthritis Action and put Psoriasis into their search box top left, there is a good explanation

Hi, I have Psoriasis and for years I have suffered badly with severe pain all over my body and it is hell to live with, I was on different medication for years can't remember what they were called , until I was put on Methotrexate injection and it really cleared up my Psoriasis but it did nothing for my pain, and now I have been diagnosed with Hemochromatosis which is related to Arthritis as well, I hope this information will give you some help good luck we all need it. 👍
